The storage investment is aimed at IAB customers who want to invest in battery storage. The storage systems are built, connected to the network and operated. In the first few years, the focus is typically on the operational and project phase; Distributions will be possible from a later date.

Storage investment (IABinvestors)
You invest in energy storage. As a rule, you do not need any space.
If you want to invest: you've come to the right place.
Lease (land owner)
You have a suitable area (e.g. 4/8/16/32 m²) - ideally near a transformer/grid connection point - and you lease it.
Up to €1,000 per 5 m² per year (depending on the project and location).

An investment model for IAB customers: energy storage assets are acquired and operated over the long term; distributions typically begin from year 10.
What is the difference between storage investment and lease?
Storage investment is for investors. Leasing is for area owners: They lease a small area so that storage can be set up.
As an investor, do I have to bring my own space?
Usually not. Suitable sites are sourced and evaluated separately via the lease model.
